Culturing Canine Mammary Carcinoma Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
CMT-U27 and CF41.Mg, epithelial-like rounded cells derived from canine mammary gland carcinoma, were procured from ATCC (Manassas, VA, USA). These cells were cultured in Roswell Park Memorial Institute 1640 medium for CMT-U27 cells or Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s Medium for CF41.Mg cells, supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum and 1% penicillin–streptomycin, in a humidified atmosphere containing 5% CO2 at 37 °C. MitoQ was obtained from Selleck Chemicals LLC (Houston, TX, USA) and diluted in dimethyl sulfoxide (Sigma Aldrich, Saint Louis, MO, USA) to prepare a 1 M stock solution. This stock solution was further diluted to the desired concentration using cell culture medium prior to cell treatment.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
