Human gene st 2.1 microarrays

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific

The Human Gene ST 2.1 microarrays are a high-density oligonucleotide microarray designed to measure the expression of protein-coding and non-coding transcripts across the human genome. The array contains probes targeting over 40,000 well-annotated genes and 10,000 additional coding and non-coding transcripts. The core function of this product is to provide a comprehensive and unbiased platform for gene expression analysis in human samples.

RNA was extracted from whole blood or from purified leukocyte subsets as described previously 32 , and hybridised to Human Gene ST 2.1 microarrays (Affymetrix). Microarray data are available in the ArrayExpress database (http://www.ebi.ac.uk/arrayexpress) under accession number E-MTAB-5906.
Patient serum was hybridised to ProtoArray (Invitrogen) protein microarrays according to manufacturer's instructions. Details of gene expression and protein array analyses are in the supplementary appendix.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
