Statistical package for the social sciences spss statistical software version 23
The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) is a statistical software package developed by IBM. Version 23 provides data management, analysis, and visualization capabilities for researchers and analysts working in the social sciences and other fields. The software enables users to import, manipulate, analyze, and present data in a user-friendly interface.

Topography-Guided LASIK: Contoura vs Phorcides
To analyse the “non-superiority” of Contoura manifest refraction over Phorcides Analytic Engine in eyes undergoing topography-guided LASIK, a sample size of 56 eyes was found to be required. A sample size of 60 eyes (30 patients) was calculated to account for data attrition secondary to loss of follow-up.
Snellen CDVA measurements were converted to logMAR equivalents for the purpose of data analysis. For normally distributed quantitative parameters, the mean values were compared between the study groups using independent sample t-test (two groups). For non-normally distributed quantitative parameters, medians and interquartile range (IQR) were compared between the study groups using Mann–Whitney U test (two groups). For non-normally distributed quantitative parameters, medians and IQR were compared between preoperative and different postoperative follow-ups using Wilcoxon singed rank test. P value < 0.05 was considered as statistically significant. Vector analysis was done using the Alpins criteria.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
