Branched PEI with molecular weight 10,000 Da (bPEI10k) was bought from Alfa Aesar (Wardhill, MA, USA). 1,2-Di-O-octadecenyl-3-trimethylammonium propane (DOTMA) and cholesterol were purchased from Avanti Polar Lipids (Alabaster, AL, USA). 1,2-Dimyristoyl-sn-glycerol, methoxypolyethylene glycol (DMG-PEG2000) was purchased from NOF America Corporation (White Plains, NY, USA). LF3000, TRIzol RNA isolation reagent, and bicinchoninic acid assay (BCA) protein assay kit were purchased from Thermo Fisher Scientific (Waltham, MA, USA). Direct-zol RNA MiniPrep Kit was from Zymo Research (Irvine, CA, USA). Celltiter-Glo assay was purchased from Promega (Madison, WI, USA). Matrigel was purchased from Corning (Corning, NY, USA).
