White female Wistar rats Rattus norvegicus (age 2.5–3.0 months; body weight 150–200 g) were obtained from laboratory of Pharmacology, Faculty of Health and Biomedicine, Brawijaya University, Malang. Comfeed PARS feed (PT. JapfaComfeed Indonesia Tbk.), miliQ water, Streptozotocin (STZ) (Nacalai Tesque, Kyoto, Japan), ether, Buffer Neutral Formalin (BNF) 10%, HCL 1 N, TCA, Na-Thiobarbiturate, PBS, xanthine, xanthine oxidase, NBT, hematoxylin eosin (HE), and paraffin were all obtained from Laboratory of Pharmacology and Laboratory of Pathology Anatomy, Faculty of Health and Biomedicine, Brawijaya University, Malang.
Hematoxylin eosin
Hematoxylin eosin is a staining technique used in histology and pathology to visualize cellular and tissue structures. Hematoxylin stains nuclei blue, while eosin stains cytoplasm and extracellular structures pink. This staining method provides contrast to help differentiate various components within a sample.

Histological Analysis of Human Larynx
To observe the three‐dimensional structures of collagen, reticular, and elastic fibers, a chemical digestion method (sodium hydroxide maceration method) was performed to digest ground substances. The specimens stained with Hematoxylin & Eosin were immersed in 2 mol/L NaOH (Nacalai Tesque) for 2 h at room temperature.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
