G1 and g2

Manufactured by Merck Group
Sourced in United States

The G1 and G2 are laboratory equipment products from Merck Group. The G1 is a centrifuge machine used for separating components of a liquid mixture based on their density, while the G2 is a high-precision analytical balance for measuring the mass of small samples. Both products are designed to provide reliable and accurate results in laboratory settings, but a detailed description of their intended use or performance specifications is not available.

HPLC Analysis of Mycotoxin Contamination

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
High-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) grade methanol, acetonitrile, formic acid and ammonium formate (supplied by Sigma-Aldrich®, St. Louis, MO, USA). HPLC grade Milli Q® water was supplied by Biosciences East Central Africa (BecA), International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI), (P.O. Box 30709 Nairobi 00100, Kenya). Aflatoxin B1 was analysed by a multiple mycotoxin analysis method with mixed mycotoxins standards (Aflatoxin B1, B2, G1 and G2, Fumonisin B1 and B2, T-2 toxin, HT-2 toxin, and diacetoxyscirpenole) obtained from Sigma-Aldrich (Sigma-Aldrich Chemie B.V., Zwijndrecht, The Netherlands).

Aspergillus parasiticus Cultivation and Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
AFs B1, B2, G1 and G2, AITC (95%), acetonitrile, methanol, potassium nitrate, potassium chloride, sodium chloride and tartaric acid were purchased from Sigma–Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA) and were all HPLC‐grade. Deionized water (<18 MΩ cm resistivity) was obtained from a Milli‐Q water purification system (Millipore, Bedford, MA, USA). Chromatographic solvents and water were degassed for 15 min at 20 °C using a Branson 5200 (Branson Ultrasonic Corp., Danbury, CT, USA) ultrasonic bath. A. parasiticus CECT 2681 was obtained from the Spanish Type Culture Collection (CECT, Valencia, Spain). Buffered peptone water, potato dextrose agar (PDA) and potato dextrose broth (PDB) were provided by Liofilchem (Roseto degli Abruzzi, Italy).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
