ACE2 Western Blot Analysis

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Western blot analyses were performed according to Melamed et al. 2004 [21 (link)] with the following modifications: nitrocellulose membranes (iBlot 2 Transfer Stacks; IB23001, Invitrogen, Carlsbad, CA, USA) were incubated with mouse monoclonal anti-ACE2 (AC18Z) (sc-73668, Santa Cruz, 1:200 dilution) overnight at 4 °C. Detection of the primary antibodies was with a secondary, horseradish peroxidase (HRP)-conjugated goat anti-mouse antibody (115-035-003, Jackson ImmunoResearch, 1:10000 dilution) for 1 h at room temperature, and with Immobilon Forte Western HRP substrate (WBLUF0500, Millipore).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
