Concanavalin a c2010

Manufactured by Merck Group
Sourced in United States

Concanavalin A (C2010) is a lectin protein purified from the jack bean plant. It has the ability to agglutinate, or clump together, certain types of cells, such as red blood cells and lymphocytes. Concanavalin A can also be used to separate and purify glycoproteins and glycolipids.

Concanavalin A (C2010) was purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA) and dissolved in saline solution at a concentration of 4 μg/μL. RB6-8C5mAb was purchased from BioxCell (Lebanon, NH, USA), and Z-VAD(OMe)-FMK, AC-YVAD-cmk, and Z-DEVD-FMK were purchased from MCE (Monmouth Junction, NJ, USA). The working concentrations of Z-VAD(OMe)-FMK, AC-YVAD-cmk, and Z-DEVD-FMK were 50 μM, 80 μM, and 100 μM, respectively, according to articles previously reports [42 (link),43 (link),44 (link)]. Alpha mouse liver 12 (AML12) hepatocytes were obtained from the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC CRL-2254TM). AML12 hepatocytes were maintained at 37 °C in DMEM/F-12 (Gibco) supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (Yeasen, Shanghai, China) and penicillin/streptomycin (final concentration, 100 U/mL and 0.1 mg/mL, respectively) in a 5% CO2 humidified incubator.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
