Tba salts

Manufactured by Merck Group

TBA salts are a class of inorganic compounds commonly used in various laboratory applications. These salts serve as chemical reagents and can be utilized in a range of experimental procedures. The core function of TBA salts is to provide a source of specific ions or elements that are essential for various analytical and synthetic processes conducted in scientific laboratories.

Osmium trichloride, perchlorate salts of
the cations, sodium perchlorate, and TBA salts of the anions were
procured from Sigma. [(tpy-PhCH3)OsCl3] and
[(H2pbbzim)OsCl3] were synthesized following
literature procedure.49 (link) Dipy-Hbzim-tpy
and Os(II) complexes were synthesized by some modified procedures
reported by us.49 (link),74 (link)

Titration of Anions with Zn2+ in Water

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
In the titration experiments all four anions (F, CH3COO, Br and Cl) were added in the form of the corresponding tetrabutylammonium (TBA+) salts purchased from Sigma-Aldrich and used without further purification. Zn2+ cation was added in the form of ZnCl2 (Sigma-Aldrich). Distilled water was used in all H2O titration experiments.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
