The BioRad EIA measures IgG, IgM and IgA specific for SARS-CoV-2 nucleocapsid protein, whereas the Euroimmun and Ortho Vitros EIAs only measure anti-SARS-CoV-2 IgG specific to spike (S). The EIAs results are reported as follows: the Euroimmun EIA provides an arbitrary unit ratio (AU, which is the optical density [OD] of the sample divided by calibrator provided), the Ortho Vitros EIA provides a S/CO ratio, and the BioRad EIA provides an OD. Positive samples were defined using the manufacturers’ suggested cutoff.
