Genetically Modified Mice for Research

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Genetically modified tissue-specific mDia2 knockout mice with a C57/BL6 background were described previously25 (link),26 (link). Congenic mice carrying CD45.1 antigen were purchased from Charles River (B6-LY-5.2/Cr, strain code: 564). C57/BL6 WT mice, CAG-Cas9 transgenic mice (stock #026179), Mx-Cre mice (stock #003556), and Vav-Cre mice (stock #008610) were purchased from the Jackson Laboratory. All the experiments involving animals were conducted in accordance with the Guide for the Care and Use of Laboratory Animals and were approved by the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee at Northwestern University.

Transgenic Mouse Model for LRRK2 G2019S

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Mouse husbandry and procedures were performed in accordance with institutional guidelines and approved by the Stanford Administrative Panel on Animal Care (APLAC). Heterozygous human LRRK2 G2019S BAC-transgenic mice (The Jackson Laboratory, cat# 018785) were maintained on a C57BL/6 background (The Jackson Laboratory, cat# 000664). LRRK2 G2019S mice and wild-type litter mates were used for in vivo experiments. C57BL/6 mice, LRRK2 G2019S BAC mice and CAGCas9 transgenic mice (Jackson Laboratory cat# 024858) were used for time-mating and primary neuron cultures.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
