C57BL/6-Tg(Pf4-cre)Q3Rsko/J (Pf4Cre), C57BL/6-Gt(ROSA) 26Sortm1(HBEGF) Awai/J (Rosa26fs-iDTR), C57BL/6-Gt(ROSA)26Sortm4(ACTB-tdTomato,-EGFP)Luo/J (Rosa26fs-mTmG), Gt(ROSA)26Sortm9(CAG-tdTomato)Hze (Rosa26fs-tdTomato), CXCL12tm2.1Sjm/J (Cxcl12DsRed) and C57BL/6-Tg(TcraTcrb)1,100Mjb/J (OT-I) mice were obtained from the Jackson Laboratory. SclCreER mice were provided by J. R. Göthert. All mice were maintained in the C57BL/6 background. Animals were blindly included in the experiments according to genotyping results as a mix of male and female. All animal experiments were performed according to protocols approved by the Sun Yat-sen University animal care and use committee (approval No. SYSU-IACUC-2021-B0617).

Csf1r-iCre mice (Deng et al., 2010 (link)) were provided by Dr. Jeffrey W. Pollard (Albert Einstein College of Medicine). Berkeley sickle cell mice (Tg[Hu-miniLCRα1GγAγδβS]Hba−/− Hbb−/−), referred to as SCD mice, and control hemizygous mice (Tg[Hu-miniLCRα1GγAγδβS]Hba−/− Hbb+/−), referred to as SA mice, were at least 18 weeks old and have been used and previously described (Paszty et al., 1997 (link)). All mice were maintained on the C57BL/6 background. Unless indicated otherwise, 9–13 week-old male and female mice were used. All mice were housed in pathogen-free conditions and fed with autoclaved food, and all experimental procedures were approved by the Animal Care and Use Committees of Albert Einstein College of Medicine.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
