We purchased L-glutamine, fetal bovine serum (FBS), trypsin-EDTA, and penicillin/streptomycin from HyClone, GE Healthcare Life Sciences (Logan, UT, USA).

Cells (1 × 106 cells/mL) were cultured in a 10-cm dish with 50 or 75 μM quercetin and then treated with 500 μM indomethacin for 24 h for the measurement of caspase protein expression.
