Elecsys estradiol 3

Manufactured by Roche
Sourced in Germany

The Elecsys Estradiol III is a fully automated laboratory instrument used for the quantitative determination of estradiol levels in human blood samples. It employs an electrochemiluminescence immunoassay (ECLIA) technology to provide accurate and precise measurements of estradiol concentrations.

Serum Biomarkers in Aged Mice

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Serum samples of all mice were collected through centrifugation at 12,000 x g for 15 min at 4˚C and were stored at -80˚C once behavioral experiments were completed at the end of 38 weeks of age. Serum concentrations of folate were measured using chemiluminescence (cat. no. A98032; Beckman Coulter, Inc.) according to the manufacturer's instructions (36 (link)). Serum concentrations of total homocysteine (HCY) were measured using an enzymatic cycling assay [cat. no. 1.02.4802; Shanghai Fosun Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd.] (37 (link)). Serum E2 (Elecsys Estradiol III; cat. no. 6656021190; Roche Diagnostics GmbH) and testosterone (Elecsys Testosterone II; cat. no. 5200067190; Roche Diagnostics GmbH) were measured using electrochemiluminescence immunoassays according to the manufacturer's instructions (38 (link),39 (link)).

Estradiol Levels in Peritoneal Fluid

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
An electrochemiluminescence immunoassay (ECLIA) kit specific for estradiol (Elecsys Estradiol III, Roche Diagnostics International Ltd., Mannheim, Germany) was used, according to manufacturer's instructions. The lower and upper detection limits were 5 and 3000 pg/mL, respectively. All measurements were performed in duplicate. Estradiol levels in the peritoneal fluid were expressed in pg/mL.

Serum AMH and E2 Measurement

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
One sample of 2 ml of blood was collected from each rat. The blood samples were centrifuged, and the serum was separated into two parts: one part was used for AMH analysis, and one part was used for E2 analysis. The serum levels of AMH and E2 at the indicated time points (1, 2, 3, and 5 weeks after single- or multiple-injection hPD-MSC therapy) were measured using the Elecsys® AMH immunoassay (Roche Diagnostics GmbH, Mannheim, Germany) and Elecsys® Estradiol III (Roche Diagnostics GmbH), respectively. All serum markers (AMH and E2) were determined in a single measurement on the e601 module of the fully automated Cobas 6000 system (Roche Diagnostics GmbH). Assays were performed according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
