Surgical masks were purchased from Nanchang Zhenfeng Sanitary Materials Co., Ltd. Copper (II) chloride dihydrate (CuCl2·2H2O), trisodium citrate, polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP, K30), sulfuric acid (H2SO4, 98%), and sodium sulfide (Na2S·9H2O) were brought from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. 3-(4,5-Dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyltetrazolium bromide (MTT) and phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) were obtained from Beyotime Biotechnology. The adhesion promoter (CS-555) containing the amino-contained silane coupling agent was purchased from Nanjing Chuangshi Chemical Additives Co., Ltd. All the chemicals were used as received without further purifications. Infrared lamp (Philips, T04-R95E100W) was purchased from Shanghai Yafu Lighting Appliance Co., Ltd.

Graphene-based Electrochemical Sensor Fabrication

All aqueous stock solutions were prepared with deionized water purified by a membrane device. Ethanol (absolute) and acetone were obtained from (Tianjin Fuchen Chemical Reagent Factory, Tianjin, China). Diethyl phthalate (DEP) was obtained from Macklin (Shanghai, China). Copper (II) chloride dihydrate, sodium chloride, and potassium ferricyanide were all obtained from (Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China). Graphene was obtained from (YURUI Chemical Co., Ltd., Shanghai, China). The purchased graphene was 1–5 layers, its purity was greater than 95%, its thickness distribution was from 1 to 1.77 nm, with diameters ranging from 0.5 to 5 µm. C18 solid-phase extraction cartridges were purchased from CNW Technologies (Shanghai, China).

Proton exchange membrane (Nafion 115) was purchased from Dupont. Anion exchange membrane (Sustainion x37-50-grade-60) was purchased from Dioxide Materials. Titanium gauze (100 mesh) and iridium(III) chloride hydrate (IrCl3·3H2O) were obtained from Alfa Aesar. Carbon paper-based gas diffusion layers (GDLs, Sigracet 29 BC) were purchased from the Fuel Cell Store. Ultrapure Millipore water (resistivity 18.2 MΩ cm) was used for all experiments. All the chemicals were used without further purification.

Nanomaterial Synthesis using Metallic Salts

Copper(ii) chloride dihydrate (CuCl2·2H2O), magnesium chloride hexahydrate (MgCl2·6H2O), zinc chloride (ZnCl2) and trisodium citrate dihydrate were purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd (Shanghai, China). Tetrachloroauric acid (HAuCl4) was provided by Toronto Research Chemicals Inc. (Toronto, Canada). All the reagents were of analytical reagent grade. Ultrapure water generated from a Millipore Milli-Q water purification system (Billerica, MA, USA) was used in all experiments. Chlorpromazine and colchicine were purchased from Energy Chemical (Shanghai, China). Phosphate-buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.4, 10 mM, 137 mM NaCl), Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium (DMEM) and fetal bovine serum (FBS) were provided by Life Technologies Corporation (Los Angeles, CA, USA). The oligonucleotide strands in our experiments were obtained from Sangon Biological Engineering Technology & Services Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China). All of the nucleotide strands were purchased from GenePharma (Shanghai, China) and diluted in diethy pyrocarbonate (DEPC) water for further use. The DNA and RNA sequences are presented in the ESI.

Synthesis of Silver Nanowires

Silver nitrate (AgNO3), ethylene glycol (EG), iron (III) chloride hexahydrate (FeCl3·6H2O), and copper (II) chloride dihydrate (CuCl2·2H2O) were purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co. Ltd. Polyvinyl pyrrolidone (PVP, K90) was purchased from Shanghai Aladdin Biochemical Technology Co., Ltd. All chemicals were used without further purification. In a typical process, EG solution of PVP‐K90 (0.15 m, 10 mL), CuCl2·2H2O (0.6 mm, 0.75 mL), FeCl3·6H2O (0.6 mm, 0.75 mL), and AgNO3 (0.1 m, 5 mL) were first mixed in a glass beaker and vigorously stirred for 1 min, and the obtained uniform mixed solution was transferred into a 50 mL Teflon‐lined autoclave container, which was then sealed and maintained at 140 °C in an oven for 4 h. Finally, the products were obtained after centrifuging and then dried at 60 °C. The total mass of AgNWs is 48.6 mg with 90% productivity.
