Anti p2x7r antibody

Manufactured by Santa Cruz Biotechnology
Sourced in United States

The Anti-P2X7R antibody is a laboratory reagent used to detect and study the P2X7 receptor, a member of the P2X family of ATP-gated ion channels. The antibody can be used in various experimental techniques, such as Western blotting, immunohistochemistry, and flow cytometry, to identify and localize the P2X7 receptor in biological samples.

Osteoclast-like cell-enriched populations seeded in coverslips were rinsed with PBS, fixed in ice-cold methanol, and permeabilized with PBS-0.1% Triton X-100. Then, the covers were rinsed with PBS and blocked with PBS-1% BSA for 1 h at room temperature. After that, cells were washed with PBS and incubated with an anti-P2X7R antibody (Santa Cruz Biotechnologies, TX, USA), at 4°C overnight. Then, cells were washed with PBS and incubated for 1 h with the secondary antibody Alexa Fluor-555 (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA). For nuclei staining, cells were incubated with Hoechst (Thermo Fisher Scientific, Waltham, MA, USA) for 10 min. Samples were finally washed with PBS, mounted in Dako anti-fading reactive (Dako, Glostrup, Denmark) and stored at 4 °C until use.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
