Naproxen (NAP, MW = 230.3 g/mol) was purchased from Sigma Aldrich (Steinheim, Germany). Indomethacin (IND, MW = 357.8 g/mol) and paracetamol (PAR, MW = 151.2 g/mol) were purchased from Fagron A/S (Copenhagen, Denmark). Celecoxib (CCX, MW = 381.4 g/mol) was purchased from Dr. Reddy’s (Hyderabad, India). Nifedipine (NIF, MW = 346.3 g/mol) was purchased from Hangzhou Dayangchem (Hangzhou, China). All materials were used as received.

Dissolution Profiling of Arylpropionic Acid Drugs

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Cladophora cellulose (CLAD) was provided by FMC Biopolymers (currently DuPont, Philadelphia, PA, USA). Microcrystalline cellulose (MCC) (Avicel PH101), ibuprofen (IBU), Ibuprofen-D3 (IBU-D3); Naproxen (NAP), Flurbiprofen (FLB), and Ketoprofen (KET) were purchased from Sigma Aldrich (Saint Louis, MO, USA). Biorelevant media of simulated gastric fluid (SGF), fasted simulated intestinal fluid (FaSIF), and fed state simulated intestinal fluid (FeSIF) were prepared using powder purchased from Biorelevant (London, UK) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The chemical structures of studied profens are presented in Table 1. Table 1 summarizes the physical chemical properties of the arylpropionic acid derivaties under study.

Thermal Stability of Pharmaceutical Compounds

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Praziquantel (PZQ) was obtained from Divis Laboratories Ltd. (Telangana, India), loratadine (LOR) was purchased from Sris Pharmaceutials (Telangana, India), naproxen (NAP) was received from Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA), and celecoxib (CXB) was obtained from Cadila Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (Ahmedabad, India). Vinylpyrrolidone-vinyl acetate copolymer (copovidone, Kollidon® VA 64, COP) was kindly donated by BASF SE (Ludwigshafen, Germany) (Table 1). All of the investigated APIs belong to BCS (Biopharmaceutics classification system) Class II and were thermally stable over the applied temperature range. None of the selected APIs were used to establish the Tg-melt viscosity correlation in the first place, and thus served for model validation [20 (link),21 (link)].

Microwave-Assisted Synthesis of Iron Oxide Nanoparticles from Walnut Shell

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The walnut shell (WS) was collected from the southwestern of Morocco (Taroudant city). The walnut shell (WS) was washed with tap water and distilled water. The washed walnut shell (WS) was oven dried at 60 °C for 12 h. The iron precursor was ferric chloride (FeCl3·6H2O) and was purchased from Merck Millipore. Salicylic acid (SA), naproxen (Nap), and ketoprofen (Keto) were acquired from Sigma-Aldrich. Moreover, pH values of the solutions were controlled with HCl (Merck Millipore) and NaOH (Merck Millipore) solutions. All chemicals were used as received and all solutions were prepared with distilled water. The synthesis was performed in a Teflon autoclave using microwave radiation (Delonghi EMD MW 311 adjustable power < 800 W, 230 V, 50 Hz).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
