The materials used for fingermark development; black powder suspension (Wetwop™) and Rite Lok cyanoacrylate superglue, were generously supplied by West Yorkshire Police (Wakefield, UK). BoE £5 polymer banknotes were obtained from a public cash machine (Sheffield, UK). Ultrapure water was obtained from an ELGA Purelab® Ultra water purity system operating at 13.4 MΩ-cm.
