Isolation and Characterization of Chinese Fir Tannins

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Chinese fir (Cunninghamia lanceolate), sourcing from Fujian, China, was used as a raw material. Phosphoric acid, phenol, hydrochloric acid, hexamethyleneteramine, formaldehyde, sodium thiosulfate, disodium hydrogen phosphate, monopotassium phosphate, copper sulfate pentahydrate and zinc chloride were purchased from Beijing Chemical Works (Beijing, China). Soluble starch was purchased from Xilong Chemical Co. Ltd. (Shantou, China). Potassium iodide and iodine was purchase from Guangdong Guanghua Sc-tech Co. Ltd. (Shantou, China). Methylene blue was purchase from Tianjin Jinke Fine Chemicals Co. Ltd. (Tianjin, China) All the chemicals were of reagent grade and used without further purification.

HPLC Analysis of Intestinal Bacterial Transformed Drugs

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The HPLC conditions used for the analysis of the intestinal bacterial transformed AEOF before and after transport experiment was the same as above. An Agilent TC-C18 column (5 μm, 250 mm ×4.6 mm) was used to analyze the resultant solutions of propranolol and atenolol at 30 °C, and the isocratic elution was carried out using methanol (HPLC grade, Fisher Co., Pittsburgh, PA)-monopotassium phosphate (Beijing Chemical Works, Beijing, China) (0.02 mol/L) (1:1, v/v) at the flow rate of 0.9 mL/min and acetonitrile-monopotassium phosphate (0.05 mol/L) (1:9, v/v) at 0.8 mL/min for the resultant solutions of propranolol and atenolol, respectively. The UV detecting wavelengths were 290 and 277 nm for propranolol and atenolol, respectively, and the injection volumes were all 10 μL.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
