Elisa kit for human il 6

Manufactured by R&D Systems
Sourced in United States

The ELISA kit for human IL-6 is a quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay designed for the measurement of human interleukin-6 (IL-6) in cell culture supernatants, serum, and plasma. The kit utilizes a monoclonal antibody specific for human IL-6 that has been pre-coated onto a microplate. The assay procedure involves the addition of standards and samples to the wells, followed by the addition of a biotinylated detection antibody specific for human IL-6. Streptavidin-peroxidase is then added, and a substrate solution is used to elicit a color change that is proportional to the amount of human IL-6 present in the sample.

Blood Biomarker Panel for Disease Assessment

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Plasma was obtained by centrifugation immediately after collection. Blood chemical parameters were measured by using an automatic chemistry analyzer (Mindray, BS220). Blood chemical parameters were as follows: C-reactive protein (CRP), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), total cholesterol (TC), lactate dehydrogenase (LDH), and triglyceride (TG). Plasma concentrations of IL-6 and soluble IL-6R (sIL-6R) were measured by ELISA kit for human IL-6 (R&D, Cat# DY206-05) and human IL-6R (R&D, Cat# DY227), respectively.

Quantifying IL-6 and Histone H1.5 in Amniotic Fluid

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
ELISA kit for human IL-6 (R&D systems, MN, USA) and human histone H1.5 (MyBiosource, CA, USA) were used to determine IL-6 and H1.5 levels in amniotic fluid. Samples with IL-6 concentration above the top calibration point were diluted to fit the calibration range. Resulting absorbance was read at 450 nm with correction to 540 nm. Data was evaluated in GraphPad Prism 6.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
