Oligonucleotides of these primers

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific

Oligonucleotides are synthetic, short DNA or RNA molecules that are commonly used as primers in various molecular biology techniques, such as polymerase chain reaction (PCR) and DNA sequencing. These primers serve as the starting point for DNA synthesis, allowing researchers to amplify or analyze specific regions of genetic material.

Zebrafish Liver RNA Extraction and qPCR

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
For liver tissues of adult zebrafish, total RNA of each sample was purified as described previously [27 (link)]. For cultured cells, total RNA was also purified using the RNeasy Mini Kit. First-strand cDNA was prepared with 200 ng total RNA using the Super Script III First-strand System (Life Technologies) with random primers (Life Technologies). qPCR was performed with Power SYBR Green Master Mix (Applied Biosystems) in triplicate, according to the manufacturer’s protocol. The sequences of the primers are shown in Additional file 3: Table S3. The oligonucleotides of these primers were synthesized by Life Technologies.

RNA Extraction and qRT-PCR Analysis in Zebrafish

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
For liver tissues of adult zebrafish, total RNA of each sample was purified as described above. For young zebrafish, eight fish were homogenized in RLT buffer using the Mixer Mill 300. Total RNA was purified using the RNeasy Mini Kit (Qiagen), according to the manufacturer's protocol. For cultured cells, total RNA was also purified using the RNeasy Mini Kit. First-strand cDNA was prepared with 200 ng total RNA using the Super Script III First-strand System (Life Technologies, Gaithersburg, MD, USA) with random primers (Life Technologies). qRT-PCR was performed with Power SYBR Green Master Mix (Applied Biosystems) in triplicate, according to the manufacturer's protocol. The sequences of the primers are shown in Supplementary Table S3. The oligonucleotides of these primers were synthesized by Life Technologies.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
