Demographic and clinical data were reported as median and interquartile range (IQR) for continuous variables and as frequencies and proportions for categorical variables. Univariate logistic regression models were used to identify factors associated with TB2 response. The included variables were recent contact, sex, and age. Amongst contacts, cumulative exposure with the index case (<8 h, 8-40 h or >40 h) and smear status of the index case were also evaluated. Binary logistic models were used to adjust the clinical variables for age and sex. Statistical analysis was performed using the IBM Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) software, version 27.0. A two-tailed p-value <0.05 was considered statistically significant.
