Inh tor1

Manufactured by InvivoGen

Inh-tor1 is a laboratory equipment product designed to inhibit a specific cellular process. It functions by targeting and interfering with the activity of a particular molecular component. The core purpose of Inh-tor1 is to provide researchers with a tool to modulate and study this specific cellular mechanism in their experiments.

Analyzing Protein Dynamics in HEK-293 Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
HEK-293 cell lines were expanded in growth medium (DMEM, ThermoFisher, 10% FCS) at 37°C/5% CO2. Prior to transfection, cells were seeded to a 40–50% confluency in tissue culture plates. Transfections were performed using GeneJuice® reagent (Sigma-Aldrich, 70967) according to manufacturer’s specifications, and the samples were further processed 48 h after transfection. Cycloheximide (40 μg/ml, Merck, C7698-1G), MG-132 (20 µM, Enzo, BML-PI102-0005), Bafilomycin A1 (200 nM, Enzo, BML-CM110-0100) and Torin 1 (200 nM, Invivogen, inh-tor1) were mixed with growth medium and placed on the cells for the indicated time points at 37°C/5% CO2 immediately prior to protein extraction.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
