Synthesis and Characterization of Bis-arylidene Cyclohexanone and Piperidinone Derivatives

Cyclohexanone, N-methyl-4-piperidinone, 4-piperidone hydrate hydrochloride, tetrabutyl ammonium bromide (TBAB), stannous chloride and all aromatic aldehydes were purchased from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co. Ltd (Shanghai, China) and were used as obtained without further purification. Compounds (2E,6E)-2,6-bis(3-aminobenzylidene)Cyclohexanone (2a) and (3E,5E)-3,5-bis(3-aminobenzylidene)-1-methylpiperidin-4-one (2b) were prepared based on a literature25 ,26 . 1H NMR data were collected using a Bruker Avance 400 MHz. Chemical shifts were reported in δ relative to TMS. 13C NMR data were collected at 100 MHz on a Bruker Avance 400 MHz spectrometer, or at 150 MHz on a Bruker Avance 600 MHz spectrometer. Elemental analyses were performed on a Perkin–Elmer Model 240c analyzer. Infrared (IR) spectra were obtained in the 400–4000 cm−1 range using a Perkin-Elmer Frontier Mid-IR FTIR Spectrometer.

Synthesis of Ni-Al Catalysts and Organic Compounds

Ni(NO3)2·6H2O, Al(NO3)3·9H2O, and
Na2CO3, all supplied by Sinopharm Chemical Reagent
Co., Ltd. were used for the preparation of the NiyAlOx formulations. A Ni–Al
alloy (50:50 w/w) supplied by J&K Chemical Co., Ltd. was used
for preparing RaneyNi. FF, 4-anisaldehyde, 4-chlorobenzaldehyde, vanillin,
butyraldehyde, 1-butylamine, 2-butylamine, cyclohexanone, cyclohexylamine,
butanone, ethanolamine, aniline, benzylamine, and morpholine were
also supplied by Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. HMF, FMA, THFMA,
FAA, and THFAA were procured from Shanghai Shaoyuan Co., Ltd. Glycolaldehyde
was purchased from Ark Pharm, Inc. Dioxane, ethanol and aqueous ammonia
solution (28 wt %) were purchased from Damao Chemical Reagent Factory.
Hydrogen was obtained commercially from Lanzhou Yulong Gas Co., LTD.
All the chemicals were used as received without further purification.

Preparation of Functionalized Graphene Oxide

Laurate Diethanolamide Surfactant Synthesis

Laurate diethanolamide
(LDEA) with a purity above 99% was purchased from Jiangsu Hai’an
Petrochemical Plant. Sodium hydroxyethyl sulfonate (SHES) was purchased
from Aladdin Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. (Shanghai, China). Concentrated
sulfuric acid, dimethyl sulfoxide, sodium hydroxide, isopropyl alcohol,
cyclohexanone, benzalkonium chloride (BAC), methylene blue, acid sodium
sulfate, trichloromethane, sodium chloride (NaCl), calcium chloride,
magnesium chloride hexahydrate, and other inorganic salts were purchased
from Sinopharm Chemical Reagent Co., Ltd. The simulated formation
water was a CaCl2 water type and was based on the ionic
components shown in Table 1. Crude oil was supplied by the Shengli Oilfield and configured
with kerosene to give a mass ratio of 7:3 to form simulated oil. Cores
were purchased from Beijing Anmei Petroleum Scientific Research Instrument
Co., Ltd. Ultra-pure water was prepared with a reverse osmosis unit
(UPT-II-5T, Chengdu ULUPURE Ultrapure Technology Co., Ltd.).
