The β-carotene and lutein standards used in this study was purchased from the Sigma Chemical Company (St. Louis, MO, USA). Other reagents including methanol, chloroform, n-hexane, petroleum ether (PE), diethyl ether (DE), acetone, ethanol, sodium chloride, potassium hydroxide, tri-ethyl amine and butylated hydroxyltoluene (BHT) were of analytical or HPLC grade.
Trifluoroacetic acid for hplc
Trifluoroacetic acid is a chemical compound commonly used as a mobile phase component in high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) applications. It is a clear, colorless liquid with a pungent odor. Trifluoroacetic acid is highly soluble in water and organic solvents, and is known for its ability to improve the separation and resolution of analytes in HPLC.

Carotenoid Analysis by HPLC
The β-carotene and lutein standards used in this study was purchased from the Sigma Chemical Company (St. Louis, MO, USA). Other reagents including methanol, chloroform, n-hexane, petroleum ether (PE), diethyl ether (DE), acetone, ethanol, sodium chloride, potassium hydroxide, tri-ethyl amine and butylated hydroxyltoluene (BHT) were of analytical or HPLC grade.
Clopidogrel Analytical Protocol
Clopidogrel bisulfate standard was obtained from LGC Promochem GmbH (Germany). Clopidogrel Carboxylic Acid HCl was purchased from SynFine Research (Richmond Hill, Ontario, Canada).
HPLC grade acetonitrile was purchased from Merck KGaA (Darmstadt, Germany). Trifluoroacetic acid for HPLC was purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St Louis, MO, SUA). Water for chromatography (resistivity minimum 18.2 MΩ and TOC maximum 30 ppb) was produced within the laboratory by means of a TKA GenPure system and used during the experiments. All other reagents were of analytical grade, purchased from different commercial suppliers and used without further purification.
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
