The water used for experiments was treated in a Milli-Q water purification system.

Cytosolic Compounds Characterization

Geranium Oil-Mediated Cytotoxicity in MCF-7 Cells

diacetate (H2DCFDA) was purchased from Invitrogen-Thermo Fisher Scientific
(Waltham, USA), and an Annexin V-FITC/7-AAD apoptosis detection kit
(cat. no. E-CK-A212.50) was purchased from Elabscience (Wuhan, China).
Propidium iodide (PI) was purchased from Invitrogen (Waltham, MA,
USA). All other chemicals were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich. The MCF-7
cell line (cat. no. HTB-22) was purchased from ATCC (Manassas, VA,
USA).
