Nmri nu female mice

Manufactured by Janvier Labs
Sourced in France

NMRI-nu female mice are a strain of athymic nude mice. They are characterized by the absence of a functional thymus gland, resulting in a lack of mature T cells. This strain is commonly used in research applications that require an immunodeficient model.

Cultured cells were harvested by trypsinization, washed and resuspended in saline buffer. Cell suspensions were injected s.c. as 106 cells in 0.2 ml volume in the flank of 7-/8-week-old nude NMRI-nu female mice (Janvier, France).
The experimental procedures using animals were in accordance with the guidelines of Institutional Animal Care and the French National Committee of Ethics. In addition, all experiments were conducted according to the Regulations for Animal Experimentation at the « Plate-forme Animalerie » of « Institut de Recherche en Santé de l'Université de Nantes (IRS-UN) » and approved by the French National Committee of Ethics (Aggrement number: B44278).

Subcutaneous Tumor Xenograft Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
After diuron exposure, Ntv-a cells were harvested by trypsinization, washed, and resuspended in saline buffer. Cell suspensions were injected s.c. (subcutaneous) as 2.106 cells in 0.05 ml of PBS with equal volume of matrigel matrix (Becton Dickinson, France) in the flank of seven groups of five 7/8-week-old nude NMRI-nu female mice (Janvier, France). Tumor volumes based on caliper measurements were calculated by the modified ellipsoidal formula (tumor volume = 1/2 (length × width2)).
The experimental procedures using animals were in accordance with the guidelines of Institutional Animal Care and the French National Committee of Ethics. In addition, all experiments were conducted according to the Regulations for Animal Experimentation at the “Plate-forme Animalerie” of “Institut de Recherche en Santé de l’Université de Nantes (IRS-UN)” and approved by the French National Committee of Ethics (Agreement number: B44278).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
