Immulite 2000 nt probnp
The IMMULITE 2000 NT-proBNP is a diagnostic lab equipment designed for the quantitative determination of NT-proBNP (N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide) in human serum and plasma. The core function of this instrument is to perform automated immunoassay testing to measure the levels of NT-proBNP, which is a biomarker used in the assessment of various cardiovascular conditions.

Serum samples were stored at −80o C for further assessment of NT-pro-BNP. Measurement of NT-proBNP concentration was performed using chemiluminescent immunometric assay (IMMULITE 2000 NT-proBNP, Siemens). Reference range according to manufacturer’s guidelines is up to 125 pg/ml in patients <75 years and up to 450 pg/ml in older; analytical sensitivity 10 pg/ml. BNP and NT-proBNP levels ≥100 pg/ml are significantly related to cardiac morbidity and mortality [12 (link)].
About PubCompare
Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.
We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.
However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
