Ldh assay kit wst ck12

Manufactured by Dojindo Laboratories
Sourced in United States, Japan

The LDH Assay Kit-WST (CK12) is a product offered by Dojindo Laboratories. It is a laboratory equipment designed to measure the activity of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) in samples. The kit utilizes the water-soluble tetrazolium salt (WST) to facilitate the colorimetric detection of LDH.

Membrane Integrity Assessment by LDH Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The integrity of the cell membrane related to LDH release was assessed by the LDH Assay Kit-WST (CK12, Dojindo Molecular Technologies, Inc., Rockville, MD, USA), according to the manufacturer’s instructions. The working solution (100 µL) was added to the cell suspension (50 µL), followed by a 30 min incubation at room temperature in the dark. The absorbance was measured with a microplate reader (model 680, Bio-Rad, Hercules, CA, USA) at 490 nm, and the LDH content, expressed as a percentage of cytotoxicity, was calculated using the following equation: (Test Substance − Low Control)/(High Control − Low Control) × 100. Experiments were performed with n = 4 replicates.

Quantifying Cell Damage via LDH Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) releasing was evaluated as cell damage by LDH Assay Kit-WST CK12 (CK12, DOJINDO, Kumamoto, Japan). Injury rate (%) of cancer cells was calculated as: (experimental LDH release-spontaneous LDH release)/(total LDH release-spontaneous LDH release).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
