Anti cd31 antibody sc 376764

Manufactured by Santa Cruz Biotechnology
Sourced in United States

Anti-CD31 antibody (sc-376764) is a primary antibody that recognizes the CD31 (PECAM-1) protein. CD31 is a transmembrane glycoprotein that is expressed on the surface of endothelial cells, platelets, and some leukocytes. This antibody can be used to identify and study these cell types.

Optimizing PLGA-based Paclitaxel Delivery

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Resomer RG 503 was used as a commercial source of PLGA (Boehringer, Rhein Ingelheim, Germany) with a 50:50 lactide to glycolide ratio and a molecular weight of 33,000 Da. Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), PTX, and 1,1,1,3,3,3-hexafluoro-2-propanol (HFIP) solvents were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich Co. (St. Louis, MO, USA).
Fetal bovine serum, antibiotics (penicillin-streptomycin), trypsin-ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid, trypan blue stain, and all medium additives were obtained from Life Technologies (Gaithersburg, MD, USA). An enhanced chemiluminescence kit was purchased from Amersham (Arlington Heights, IL, USA). An anti-CD31 antibody (sc-376764) was acquired from Santa Cruz Biotechnology (Santa Cruz, CA, USA). Antibodies specific for cleaved-PARP (#5625), PCNA (#2586) and Ki-67 (#9027) were obtained from Cell Signaling Technology (Danvers, MA, USA).

Angiogenesis Assay Using Matrigel

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
This assay was performed by methods described previously with modification [60 (link)]. Mice were injected subcutaneously with 0.5 mL Matrigel (BD Biosciences, San Jose, Santa Clara, CA, USA) containing 100 ng recombinant murine VEGF (R&D Systems, Minneapolis, MN, USA). Controls did not contain VEGF. After 10 days, the mice were sacrificed and plugs were harvested from underneath the skin. The plugs were fixed, embedded, and sectioned. To visualize capillaries, samples were immunohistochemically stained with anti-CD31 antibody (sc-376764, Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, CA, USA).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
