Recombinant ccl11

Manufactured by R&D Systems
Sourced in United States

Recombinant CCL11 is a protein produced in a laboratory setting. It functions as a chemokine, which is a type of signaling molecule that helps coordinate the movement and activation of immune cells. The core function of Recombinant CCL11 is to facilitate these cellular processes, though its specific applications and intended uses are not included in this description.

Oral CCL11 Sensitization and OVA Challenge

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The oral treatment with a recombinant CCL11 (R&D Systems, Minneapolis, MN, USA) was performed as previously described with modifications (27 (link)). Briefly, groups of sensitized mice were deprived of food for 2 h, followed by intragastric administration of an isotonic bicarbonate solution (8 parts HBSS and 2 parts 7.5% sodium bicarbonate) to neutralize stomach acidity. Individual mice were gavaged with a 0.1 ml PBS solution (pH 7.2) containing 1 µg of recombinant CCL11 and 30 min later, were gavaged with 50 mg of OVA in 0.5 ml of PBS.

C2C12 Myoblast Differentiation Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Mouse C2C12 myoblasts were purchased from the American Type Culture Collection (ATCC, Manassas, VA, USA) and maintained in Dulbecco’s Modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM) supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum, 20 mM hydroxyethyl piperazine ethane sulfonic acid, 2 mM L-glutamine, 100 U/mL penicillin, and 0.1 mg/mL streptomycin (Life Technologies Corp., Carlsbad, CA, USA) at 37°C in a humidified atmosphere containing 5% CO2. To induce myogenesis, cells were grown to 90% confluency in maintenance media and switched to differentiation media (DMEM with 2% horse serum) for 3 or 4 days of culture. Recombinant CCL11 was purchased from R&D Systems (cat. no. 420-ME-100; Minneapolis, MN, USA).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
