Hadk2mag 61k

Manufactured by Merck Group
Sourced in United States

HADK2MAG-61K is a magnetic bead-based protein purification kit designed for high-affinity capture of histidine-tagged proteins. It contains magnetic agarose beads coated with a nickel-chelating agent that binds to the histidine tag on the target protein. The kit provides the necessary buffers and reagents for efficient protein purification.

Biomarker Profiling of Venous Blood

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
A total of 10 mL of venous blood was obtained from a peripheral vein and was subjected for centrifugation and subsequent plasma separation and eventual central storage at −80°C for further analysis of MCP-1, TNF-alpha, IL-6, leptin, adiponectin, and IL-10. Another 10 mL of the venous blood sample was collected into EDTA tube and stored at room temperature. It was used for determining the total and differential leukocyte count (TLC and DLC), CD4+ T-lymphocytes, and its populations and cell immune markers (CD4+ T cell and its subpopulations) using flow cytometry. Plasma samples were used for biochemical analysis, including glucose, lipid profile, liver, kidney functions, hormonal parameters (c-peptide and insulin), and were performed at HMC labs. Assessment of MCP-1, TNF-alpha, IL-6, leptin, adiponectin, and IL-10 was performed in the Biomedical Research Center (BRC) labs at Qatar University using Luminex 200 by the multiplex technique according to the manufacturer’s protocol. Adipokines and cytokines were measured by the Multiplex Elisa technique using magnetic beads (HADK2MAG-61K, MADCYMAG-72K from Millipore), IL-10 (MPXHCYTO-60K-06 from Millipore), and Elisa was used for hsCRP (ab181416 from Abcam). The assay was performed based upon the manufacturer’s protocol, as previously published by our lab.15 (link)

Measuring NGF Levels in Blood

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The subjects’ blood was drawn by a nurse between 10 and 11 am. Ten milliliters of blood was collected into an ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid-coated tube, immediately centrifuged until the serum was separated, and stored at −80°C for further analysis.
NGFs were measured using Human Adipokine Magnetic Bead Panels 2 – Endocrine Multiplex Assay (HADK2MAG-61K), manufactured by Millipore (Seoul, South Korea). The test was conducted according to the standard guidelines suggested by the manufacturer. The concentration of the plates was corrected through the dilution factor of the standard curve.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
