Acacetin, a derivative of the traditional Chinese medicine Xuelianhua, was synthesized in the laboratory of Gui-Rong Li or purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St Louis, Mo). Acacetin was dissolved in dimethyl sulfoxide (100%) to create a 10 mM stock solution and stored at -20°C.
