[19F]AmBF3-TATE was ordered from AmbioPharm Inc. Saline of USP grade and sterile water for injection were purchased from Baxter. Dimethylformamide (DMF), pyridazine, potassium hydrogen difluoride, and formic acid were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich. Hydrochloric acid for trace analysis was purchased from Honeywell. Ethanol was purchased from Commercial Alcohols. Acetonitrile was purchased from ThermoFisher Scientific. Ascorbic acid injection was purchased from Sandoz.

Radiolabeling Procedure for [99Tc]Tc-Complexes

Caution! 99Tc is a β-emitter (A = 635 Bq/μg [67 ], Emax = 290 keV); appropriate shielding and manipulation technics were employed during the synthesis and in all manipulations.
Pirimydine, 2,5-dimethilpyrazole, pyridazine, triazole were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (Darmstadt, Germany). All reagents and solvents were qualified chemically pure and were not subjected to further purification.
The ammonium pertechnetate (ISOTOP RF) used in the work was recrystallized from bidistilled water (R ≥ 18 MΩ). The resulting white crystalline powder was especially pure and spectrally pure.

Schlenk Synthesis of Iridium Complex 1

All the experimental procedures associated with this work were carried out under nitrogen using standard Schlenk techniques or in an MBraun Unilab glovebox.
