Autoantibody Detection in Mice

Solutions of 10 μg/ml anti-mouse IgM, anti-mouse IgG, or various potential autoantigens were used to coat MaxiSorp 96-well ELISA plates overnight. Autoantigens included mixed calf thymus histones (Sigma-Aldrich), calf thymus dsDNA (ThermoFisher Scientific), mouse purified myelin basic protein (MBP) (Sigma-Aldrich), and Smith Ag (SMA-3000 containing SmB, SmB’, and SmD Ags; ImmunoVision).
