Access hypersensitive htsh

Manufactured by Beckman Coulter
Sourced in United States

The Access HYPERsensitive hTSH is a laboratory test that measures the level of human thyroid-stimulating hormone (hTSH) in a patient's blood sample. This test is designed to provide a highly sensitive and accurate assessment of the patient's thyroid function.

Thyroid Hormone Measurement Protocol

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Dxl chemiluminescent assay (Access HYPERsensitive hTSH, Beckman Coulter Inc, USA) was used to measure TSH (reference range 0.4–3.5 mE/L). FT4 and FT3 were also measured with Dxl chemiluminescent immunoassay by the same manufacturer (reference ranges 8–14 pmol/L and 3.5–5.4 pmol/L, respectively). Iodine concentration in Lugol’s solution was measured in duplicate by a modified Sandell–Kolthoff method (20 (link)) with spectrophotometric detection on microplates using the Pyrex test tube (12 × 100 mm) (Milton Roy Spectronic 301; Milton Roy Company, Rochester, NY, USA).

Thyroid Antibodies and Vitamin D Levels

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Serum levels of TSH, anti-TPO, and anti-TG antibodies and 25- OH vitamin D were determined at the Analysis Laboratory of Gradenigo Hospital in a single analytical session. Determinations of TSH levels and antibodies titer were performed by two-site quantitative automated immunoenzymatic assays using the following kits: Access HYPERsensitive hTSH, Access Thyroglobulin Antibody II, and Access Thyroperoxidase Ab (Beckman Coulter). The 25-OH vitamin D levels were determined in all the enrolled subjects by chemiluminescence immunoassay using the LIAISON 25-OH Vitamin D TOTAL Assay (DiaSorin, Saluggia, Italy).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
