Murine GSCs were a gift from the Keio University laboratory of Prof. Saya.24 (link),25 (link) Human GBM cell lines U87 and U251 were purchased from the American Type Culture Collection (Manassas, VA) and the Health Science Research Resources Bank (Osaka, Japan), respectively. U87-, U251-, and TGB-00 cells were cultured in RPMI-1640 with L-glutamine and phenol red (FUJI FILM Wako Pure Chemical Corp., Osaka, Japan) supplemented with 10% fetal bovine serum (Gibco-BRL, NY).
