Immunohistochemical Characterization of Murine Tissues

Tissue samples from mice were fixed in 10% (w/v) formaldehyde, embedded in paraffin, and stained with HE for histological examination. For immunohistochemistry, tissue samples were fixed via HOPE Fixative (Polysciences, Inc., Warrington, PA, USA). The specimens were embedded in paraffin. Immunohistochemistry was performed using avidin-biotin-peroxidase complex (ABC). Monoclonal anti-AID antibody (MAID-2) was described [16 (link)]. Other antibodies were purchased: keratin 5 (sc-17090; Santa Cruz Biotechnology, Inc., Santa Cruz, CA, USA), ΔN p63 (sc-8609; Santa Cruz Biotechnology), Clara cell 10kd protein (CC-10, sc-9772; Santa Cruz Biotechnology), epithelial cadherin (E-cadherin, 24E10; Cell Signaling, Danvers, MA, USA), leucine-rich repeat containing G protein-coupled receptor 5 (Lgr5, ab75732; Abcam, Cambridge, MA, USA), surfactant protein C (SP-C, sc-13976; Santa Cruz Biotechnology), Lgr6 (sc-99123; Santa Cruz Biotechnology), keratin 14 (PRB-155P; Covance, Berkeley, CA, USA), and podoplanin (53–5381; eBioscience, San Diego, CA, USA). Each section was counterstained with hematoxylin.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
