Kanamycin, isopropyl-β-D-thiogalactopyranoside (IPTG), 1-fluoro-2,4-dinitrophenyl-5-L-alanineamide (FDAA), NAD+, and NADH were obtained from TCI (Shanghai, China). α-keto acids (4-methyl-2-oxopentanoic acid, 3-methyl-2-oxobutanoic acid, 2-oxobutanoic acid, 3,3-dimethyl-2-oxobutanoic acid, 2-oxopropanoic acid, 2-oxo-3-phenylpropanoic acid) and α-amino acids (L-leucine, L-valine, L-2-aminobutyric acid, L-tert-leucine, L-alanine, L-phenylalanine) were purchased from J&K Chemical (Beijing, China). All other chemicals were purchased from commercial sources, at least reagent grade, and were used without further purification.
