Cell Viability and Chemoresistance Assay

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
A CCK‐8 kit was used to determine cell viability, as previously described.[26] Experiments were conducted in triplicate with five replicate wells for each analysis. A total of 2 × 103–3 × 103 cells per well were seeded in 96‐well plates. The medium was then replaced with CCK‐8 working solution and incubated at 37 °C for 2 h. The absorbance at 450 nm was measured on a SpectraMax M2e (Molecular Devices, Sunnyvale, CA). For the doxorubicin (Sangon Biotech, Shanghai, China)/sorafenib (Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, CA)/5‐FU (Sangon Biotech, Shanghai, China) chemoresistance assay, 4 × 103–5 × 103 cells per well were seeded in 96‐well plates. After 24 h, the medium was replaced with medium containing the indicated concentrations of the chemotherapeutic agents with or without CU27. The absorbance at 450 nm was measured at the indicated time point.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
