Reaction mixture

Manufactured by Roche
Sourced in Italy

The Reaction Mixture is a laboratory equipment designed to facilitate chemical reactions. It provides a controlled environment for the mixing and heating of reagents, enabling the study and analysis of chemical processes. The core function of the Reaction Mixture is to allow for the precise and efficient execution of chemical reactions in a laboratory setting.

Peroxide-Triton X-100 Treatment for Nuclear Staining

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The slices were treated with 3% H2O2 for 10 min and added with 0.1% Triton X-100 for 2 min. After washing with PBS 3 times, the reaction mixture (Roche) was added and incubated at 37° for 60 min. After that, DAPI (Sigma) was added to stain the nuclei and seal the sheet after washing with PBS 3 times.

Evaluating Cell Damage via LDH

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Cell damage was evaluated by measuring the release of lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) into the culture supernatant. RA-differentiated SH-SY5Y were cultured on 12-well plates (7.5 × 104 cells/well) and, after being collected and centrifugated (250× g 1 min), 100 µL of supernatants was incubated with the same volume of reaction mixture (Roche Diagnostics, Monza, Italy) for 30 min at room temperature in the dark. The released LDH from dying cells was measured by reading the absorbance at 490 nm in a Victor Multilabel Counter plate reader (Perkin Elmer, Waltham, MA, USA).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
