Silencer select human kinase sirna library v4

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific

The Silencer® Select human kinase siRNA library V4 is a collection of small interfering RNA (siRNA) molecules targeting human kinase genes. This library is designed to enable the study of gene function and signaling pathways involving kinases, which are important regulatory enzymes in various cellular processes.

Duplexed Silencer® Select siRNAs for EGFR (s565), HER2 (s613), HER3 (s4780), IGF1R (s7211), FGFR1 (s5165), InsulinR (s533802), AXL (s1846), HBEGF (s4353), JUN (s7658), DUSP4 (s1922), DUSP6 (s4379), and Bcl-xL (s4373) were purchased from Invitrogen (Carlsbad, CA, USA). The ALK-targeted siRNAs were purchased from Santa Cruz Biotechnology (Dallas, TX, USA). Cells were transfected with these siRNAs using Lipofectamine RNAi-MAX (Invitrogen) according to the manufacturer’s instructions. In all experiments, Silencer® Select siRNA for negative control #1 (Invitrogen) was used as the scrambled control. EGFR, JUN, DUSP4, DUSP6, and ALK knockdown were confirmed using western blot analysis. To perform a comprehensive analysis of siRNA screening, the Silencer® Select human kinase siRNA library V4 (Ambion, 4397918) was used according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Comprehensive siRNA Screening of Kinases

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Duplexed Silencer Select siRNAs against AXL [s1845(#1) and s1846(#2); Invitrogen, ATR (s536(#1) and s57272(#2); Invitrogen], and Bim (s195011; Invitrogen) were transfected into cells using Lipofectamine RNAi-MAX (Invitrogen) according to the manufacturer's instructions. The Silencer Select Negative Control No. 1 siRNA (siSCR, Invitrogen) was used as a scrambled control in all the experiments. AXL and ATR knockdowns were confirmed using Western blotting. Each sample was tested in triplicates in three independent assays. To perform a comprehensive siRNA screening analysis, the Silencer Select human kinase siRNA library V4 (Ambion, 4397918) was used according to the manufacturer's instructions.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
