Magnetom verio with tim system

Manufactured by Siemens
Sourced in Germany

The Magnetom Verio with Tim system is a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanner developed by Siemens. It is designed to provide high-quality imaging of the human body. The system utilizes a 3 Tesla (3T) superconducting magnet and Siemens' Tim (Total imaging matrix) technology to enable advanced imaging capabilities.

CECT was performed using two scanners (Aquilion ONE or Aquilion 64, Toshiba CA, USA;). CECT protocol and parameters are summarized in (Supplementary Table 1). Patients also underwent EOB-MRI with a 1.5 T (Magnetom Avanto; Siemens Healthcare, Erlangen, Germany) or 3 T (Magnetom Verio with Tim system; Siemens Health care, Erlangen, Germany) MRI scanner with multichannel phased array coils (16 or 32 channels) using a standard liver EOB-MRI protocol (Supplementary Table 2). Gadoxetic acid (Primovist or Eovist, Bayer AG, Germany) was administered intravenously with a power injector (Medrad® Spectris Solaris® EP MR Injection system, Bayer Healthcare, Whippany, USA).

CECT was performed on either of two scanners (Aquilion ONE or Aquilion 64, Toshiba CA, USA;) with a standardized multiphasic liver protocol (Additional file 1). EOB-MRI was performed on a 1.5 T (Magnetom Avanto; Siemens Healthcare, Erlangen, Germany) or 3 T (Magnetom Verio with Tim system; Siemens Health care, Erlangen, Germany) MRI scanner with multichannel phased array coils (16 or 32 channels) using a standardized liver protocol (Additional file 2).

Liver MRI Imaging Protocol

pMR was performed on 1.5T (Magnetom Avanto; Siemens Healthcare, Erlangen, Germany) or 3T MR system (Magnetom Verio with Tim system; Siemens Health care, Erlangen, Germany) with multichannel phased array coils (16 or 32 channels) using our institutional standard liver p-MR protocol, as previously described [31 (link)]. In brief, axial and coronal T2 HASTE, echo-planar imaging two-dimensional diffusion (b 100, 600), precontrast and postcontrast 3D, fat-saturated gradient echo T1-weighted volumetric interpolated breath-hold examinations (VIBE) before contrast, and after intravenous injection of 0.025 mmol/kg gadoxetic acid in the arterial phase, portal venous phase, transitional phase, and the hepatobiliary phase (20 min post-contrast injection).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
