Gr antibody

Manufactured by Thermo Fisher Scientific

The GR antibody is a laboratory reagent used in various immunoassay and cell biology applications. It is a specific antibody that targets the glucocorticoid receptor (GR), a nuclear receptor that mediates the effects of glucocorticoid hormones. The GR antibody can be used to detect and quantify the expression of the GR protein in biological samples.

siRNA of GR from Dharmacon (ON-TARGETplus SMARTpool Rat Nr3c1 siRNA L-089504-02-0005 or SMARTpool siGENOME Human NR3C1 siRNA M-003424-03-0005) was transfected into the T47D/A1-2 or MCF-7L cells, respectively using Lipofectamine 2000 (Invitrogen). After 48 h, the medium was replaced by fresh medium without serum. After one day in serum-free conditions, cells were incubated with R5020 10 nM, and/or DEX 10 nM or vehicle (ethanol) for different times at 37°C. The downregulation of GR expression was determined by western blot using GR antibody (MA1-510, Thermo Fisher Scientific).

ChIP Protocol Using SimpleChIP Kit

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
ChIP was performed using a SimpleChIP® Enzymatic Chromatin IP Kit (Agarose Beads) (Cell Signaling Technology). ChIP assays used the GR antibody (Thermo Fisher Scientific, MA1-510), positive control or normal IgG contained in the kit, and were performed according to the kit protocol. Primers used for qPCR analysis of ChIP experiments are listed in Table S115 (link).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
