Monoclonal Antibodies for Breast Cancer

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Mouse monoclonal antibody for 3β‐HSD type 1 (Ab55268) was purchased from Abcam (Cambridge, UK). This antibody was raised against the recombinant full‐length protein, corresponding to amino acids 1–374 of human HSD3B1. Mouse IgG1‐kappa monoclonal antibody (ab18447) for isotype control was purchased from Abcam. Monoclonal antibodies for ER (SP1), PgR (1E2) and HER‐2 (4B5) were purchased from Ventana (Tucson, AZ, USA).

Immunohistochemical Detection of HSD3B1

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
The paraffin sections and cultured LCs were incubated with rabbit polyclonal anti-HSD3B1 antibodies (ab55268, Abcam, Massachusetts, USA). After washing, the slides were incubated with biotinylated goat anti-rabbit IgG (ab64256, Abcam, Massachusetts, USA) for 1 h. After rinsing in phosphate-buffered saline (PBS), DAB (ab64261, Abcam, Massachusetts, USA) was used for the visualization of peroxidase activity. The slides were examined microscopically by a light microscope (DP73, Olympus, Tokyo, Japan).

Protein Expression Analysis in Granulosa Cells

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Aromatase (CYP19A1) (ab18995, Abcam, Cambridge, UK), 3β-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (3βHSD) (ab55268; Abcam), and Steroidogenic acute regulatory protein, (StAR) (ES10315, ELK Biotechnology, Hubei, China) protein expression in the GCs was analysed after treatment with the POP mixtures (0.1×, 1×, and 10× dilutions) for 48 h. Anti-rabbit (#7074) or anti-mouse (#7076) (Cell Signaling Technology, Danvers, MA, USA) secondary antibodies were used as appropriate, and anti-β-actin antibody (A5316; Sigma Aldrich) was used as a loading control. Western blot analysis was performed as described previously (Gogola et al. 2019 (link)).

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
