FAI and FABr were purchased from GreatCell Solar. 2-Mercaptoethano (2-ME), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), cesium iodide (CsI; 99.999%), and BCP (>96%) were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich. C60 (>99.55%) was purchased from Nano-C. Cr was purchased from K. J. Lesker. The nylon membranes were purchased from Sterlitech Corporation.

>99.5%), and formamidinium iodide (FAI, >99.5%) were purchased
from
Lumtec. Bis(trifluoromethane)sulfonimide lithium salt (Li-TFSI, 99.0%), N,N-dimethylformamide (DMF, anhydrous >99.5%),
2-bromoacetamide (98%), and 2-chloroacetamide (98%) were purchased
from Acros. Dimethly sulfoxide (DMSO, >99.7%), 2-iodoacetamide
(98%),
and dimethyl sulfoxide-d6 (DMSO-d6) were purchased from Merck. Spiro-OMeTAD was
purchased from Borun New Material Technology. All chemical substances
obtained commercially were used as purchased without further purification.

Perovskite Solar Cell Fabrication Protocol

Lead iodide (PbI2, 99.99%, trace metal basis, TCI Chemicals) (553 mg) was dissolved in a mixture of dimethylformamide (Sigma-Aldrich, anhydrous, 99.8%) (0.876 mL) and dimethyl sulfoxide (Sigma-Aldrich, 99.9%) (0.0864 mL) and stirred overnight at 60 °C inside a nitrogen-filled glovebox. MAI (14.27 mg), 7.57 mg, and FAI (53.97 mg), obtained from Greatcell Solar Materials, were dissolved in 2-propanol (Sigma-Aldrich, 99.5%) (1 mL) and stirred overnight at 60 °C in a nitrogen-filled glovebox. PTAA (Mw = 14.5 kg mol−1, EM Index Co. Ltd) (3 mg) was dissolved in toluene (Sigma-Aldrich, anhydrous) (1 mL) and stirred overnight at 60 °C in a nitrogen-filled glovebox. PCBM (99%, Solenne BV) (20 mg) was dissolved in a 1:1 (v/v) mixture of chlorobenzene and chloroform (1 mL) and stirred overnight under ambient conditions. A dispersion of AZO nanoparticles (Avantama, 2.5 wt% in alcohols) was stirred overnight in a nitrogen-filled glovebox at ambient temperature.

Indium-doped tin oxide (ITO)-coated glass slides (2 cm × 2 cm) with a sheet resistivity of 10 Ω/□ were obtained from AMG, Korea. The zinc acetate dihydrate (Zn(CH3CO)2∙2H2O, 99.99%), lead bromide (PbBr2, 99.99%), and 4-tert-butylpyridine (tBP) were purchased from Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). Formamidinium bromide (FABr, 99.99%) was obtained from Greatcell Solar Materials Pvt Ltd. Lead iodide (PbI2, 99.99%) was acquired from TCI chemicals. Gold pellets (Au, 99.99%) and Poly(3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) (P3HT) were bought from Rieke Metals Inc. (Lincoln, NE, USA). Cesium iodide (CsI, 99.99%) and tin oxide (SnO2, 15% in H2O) colloidal solutions were obtained from Alfa Aesar (Ward Hill, MA, USA). 2-methoxyethanol (2-ME, 99%), acetone (99%), ethanolamine (99%), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO, 99.8%), isopropanol (IPA, 99.5%), and dimethylformamide (DMF, 99.5%) were purchased from Samchun Chemical (Seoul, Republic of Korea). Phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PC61BM, 99.5%) was bought from Organic Semiconductor Materials. Chlorobenzene (CB, 99% GR grade) was acquired from Wako Chemicals. All the received chemicals were used in the fabrication of PSCs without any further purification.

Perovskite Solar Cell Fabrication

All organic solvents—dimethylformamide (DMF), dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO), chlorobenzene (CB), isopropyl alcohol (IPA), and acetonitrile (ACN)—were purchased in anhydrous, ultra-pure grade from Sigma Aldrich (Munich, Germany), and used as received. Solar cells were fabricated on SnO2:F (FTO) coated glass TEC8 from GreatCellSolar (Queanbeyan, Australia). The precursor for NiO hole transporting layer—Tris (ethylenediamine) nickel acetate (TED-NiA)—was synthesized accordingly to the route described in previous work and dissolved in 1.0 M concentration in ethylene glycol (analytical grade). Copper iodide (99.999% trace metal basis, powder) was purchased from Sigma Aldrich. Lead Iodide (99.99%, trace metals basis from TCI Chemicals, Zwijndrecht, Belgium) and methylammonium iodide (MAI, 99.99% purity from GreatcellSolar) were used for perovskite ink. Phenyl-C61-butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM, >99% purity) and bathocuproine (BCP, >99.8% sublimed grade) were purchased from Osilla Inc. (Sheffield, UK) and used for electron transport layers (ETLs) fabrication.
