Agilent 5973 organic mass spectrometer

Manufactured by Agilent Technologies
Sourced in United States, Canada

The Agilent 5973 is an organic mass spectrometer designed for the identification and quantification of organic compounds. It utilizes electron ionization (EI) and chemical ionization (CI) techniques to analyze a wide range of organic molecules. The 5973 features a quadrupole mass analyzer and an electron multiplier detector, providing high sensitivity and resolution for accurate mass measurements.

JEOL-ECX 500 NMR spectrometer (JEOL, Tokyo, Japan) was used to analyse the NMR spectral (1H NMR and 13C NMR) at room temperature using TMS as an internal standard and DMSO-d6 as the solvent. Elemental analysis was performed on the Elementar Vario-III CHN analyser (Elementar, Hanau, Germany). Mass spectral were conducted on the Agilent 5973 organic mass spectrometer (Agilent Technologies, Palo Alto, CA, USA). Melting points were determined on the XT-4 binocular microscope (Beijing Tech Instrument Co., China). All commercial reagents and solvents were used as they did not require any purification before use.

The melting points of the products were determined on an XT-4 binocular microscope (Beijing Tech Instrument Co., Beijing, China) and were not corrected. The IR spectra were recorded on a Bruker VECTOR 22 spectrometer (Bruker Optics Inc. Billerica, MA, USA) in KBr disk. 1H NMR and 13C NMR (solvent DMSO-d6) spectral analyses were performed on a JEOL-ECX 500 NMR spectrometer (JEOL Ltd., Tokyo, Japan) at room temperature using tetramethylsilane (TMS) as an internal standard. Elemental analysis was performed on an Elementar Vario-III CHN analyzer (Elementar, Frankfurt, Germany). Mass spectral studies were conducted on an Agilent 5973 organic mass spectrometer (Agilent Technologies, Palo Alto, Canada). Microwave experiments were carried out using a CEM Discover Labmate microwave apparatus (Discover®LabMate instrument, CEM Corporate, Matthews, NC, USA). Analytical TLC was performed on silica gel GF254 (200–300 mesh). All solvents were dried by standard methods in advance and distilled before use.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
