Infinium DNA Methylation Array Profiling

Bisulfite conversion of 500 ng of genomic DNA was performed using the Zymo EZ-96 DNA Methylation-Gold Kit™ (Zymo, CA, USA) according to the manufacturer's instructions. Fully methylated and unmethylated DNA standards (Zymo, CA, USA) and a commercially available leukocyte-derived DNA standard (AMSBIO, UK) were included as comparative controls for extreme variance of global DNA methylation profiles, while control probes on the array were used to monitor bisulphite conversion efficiency. DNA methylation data have been deposited in GEO (accession number GSE156994).
