Canine il 17 il 17a quantikine elisa kit

Manufactured by R&D Systems
Sourced in United States

The Canine IL-17/IL-17A Quantikine ELISA Kit is a quantitative sandwich enzyme immunoassay designed to measure canine interleukin-17/IL-17A levels in cell culture supernates, serum, and plasma. It utilizes a microplate pre-coated with a specific antibody for canine IL-17/IL-17A.

Canine IL-17 ELISA Quantification

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
Serum IL‐17 concentration was measured for each sample in duplicate, using a commercially available IL‐17 ELISA kit for dogs (Canine IL‐17/IL‐17A Quantikine ELISA Kit, R&D Systems Inc, Minneapolis, Minnesota) and following the manufacturer's recommendations. The manufacturer previously had validated the kit using bilirubin‐spiking experiments, up to a serum bilirubin concentration of 1710 mmol/L without interference on the ELISA results (personal communication). No information was available with regard to potential interactions with hemoglobin in serum.
Samples were allotted randomly to the plates and the operator was blinded to the dog's group. Results were obtained using a commercially available spectrophotometer (Epoch Microplate Spectrophotometer, BioTek, Winooski, Vermont) and software interface (Gen5 Software, BioTek).

Canine Plasma IL-17 in Mammary Tumor

Check if the same lab product or an alternative is used in the 5 most similar protocols
EDTA-anticoagulated whole blood was collected for diagnostic purposes from client-owned healthy dogs (n = 21) and mammary tumor-bearing dogs (n = 18) during routine veterinary procedures. All tumors were subsequently diagnosed as malignant, with adenosquamous, tubulopapillary, anaplastic, ductal, papillary, simple, complex, and mixed carcinomas. The whole blood samples were centrifuged (15 min at 2500 rpm), and the resulting supernatant (plasma) was collected and stored at −20 °C. Plasma IL-17 levels were measured using a Canine IL-17/IL-17A Quantikine ELISA Kit (R&D Systems, Minneapolis, MN, USA) according to the manufacturer’s recommendations.

About PubCompare

Our mission is to provide scientists with the largest repository of trustworthy protocols and intelligent analytical tools, thereby offering them extensive information to design robust protocols aimed at minimizing the risk of failures.

We believe that the most crucial aspect is to grant scientists access to a wide range of reliable sources and new useful tools that surpass human capabilities.

However, we trust in allowing scientists to determine how to construct their own protocols based on this information, as they are the experts in their field.
