Dulbecco’s modified eagle medium (DMEM) with high-glucose, fetal bovine serum and Penicillin-Streptomycin were purchased from Hyclone (Thermo, Beijing, China). α-Glucosidase, pNPG and DPP4 inhibitor screening kits were purchased from Sigma-Aldrich (St. Louis, MO, USA). In addition, 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid (DNS) was purchased from Beijing Solarbio Science & Technology Co., Ltd. (Beijing, China). A Total Antioxidant Capacity Assay Kit and Total Superoxide Dismutase Assay Kit were purchased from Beyotime Institute of Biotechnology (Shanghai, China). A Hydroxyl Free Radical assay kit was purchased from the Nanjing Jiancheng Bioengineering Institute (Nanjing, China). Antibiotic discs were purchased from Hangzhou Binhe Microorganism Reagent Co., Ltd. (Hangzhou, China). The HT-29 human colon adenocarcinoma cell line was purchased from the type culture cell bank of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (Shanghai, China).
